WASHINGTON. D.C.—Yep, coming to you live from Washington, D.C., where, on Friday, our Magic Retreat group toured the White House… and Dr. Jill Biden walked right by me. That is now two brushes with First Ladies. At the London Olympics, I was walking to an event and ran almost directly into Michelle Obama.
I do realize that such First Lady near-collisions interests nobody except the person involved (or someone who wants to use it as an excuse to rant about politics). I understand that these stories are less interesting to the world than even fantasy football recaps, fishing stories, or bad beats in poker. But I obviously have to tell SOMEBODY that I was walking through the White House and saw the First Lady. Don’t get me started about the time I literally ran into Rod Stewart at the Kentucky Derby.
