Lots of stuff to talk about as we kick off Thanksgiving week—I got my Baseball Hall of Fame ballot, Patrick Mahomes is Patrick Mahomes, our daughter Elizabeth asks an ethical question, Mike’s new show is fantastic (and I sort of, kind of, not really have a cameo) and is it time to start a Cavaliers Diary?
But first… a probing question for our European baseball fans. If—and I’m just asking if—we wanted to do a baseball get-together in London (or another European city within striking distance) in early January, how many of you would come if you could make the day work? The idea (and, let me reiterate, it’s only an idea right now) would be for us to get together, chat up some baseball, talk about what it’s like being a baseball fan in Europe, etc. I realize that I’m not giving you a lot to go on here, but it would be part of a project I’m working on, and there might be a special guest or two, and I just want to gauge potential interest to see if it’s doable.
If it sounds like something you might be able to pull off, send me an email—obviously no obligation or anything—and I’ll see if this is something we can make happen. Of course, this would not just be open to European fans but to anybody who might be interested and in the general London area around that time…
