OK, our first sports card opening PosCast of 2024 is up—almost two hours of two guys just opening up packs of old baseball cards. What could possibly make for better audio entertainment than that? And we’ll be doing more of these over the next month!
As mentioned, we’re doing the Sports Card Series as a fundraiser for Project Main Street, a wonderful charity that offers direct financial support to those afflicted with ALS and their families. We are asking listeners to donate at least $25—or whatever is affordable—and then to gmail us at PosCastRaffle to enter our special raffle where we’re giving away loads of amazing prizes, including autographed and personalized copies of Mike’s book, my book of your choice and (we just found out) Jason Kander’s book, along with any baseball card we pull, plus a bunch of baseball card packs, plus a personalized essay from me about your favorite football player, plus, well, I know there will be a lot more.
So, again:
Step 1: Donate to Project Main Street.
Step 2: Email us the receipt and your favorite player and/or any other thoughts you have.
Step 3: Win great prizes and feel good about doing some good!
As my buddy Ryan George likes to say: Super-easy, barely an inconvenience.
Now on to the Hall of Fame talk!
