Shouldn’t the Blue Jays go all in on the whole Sons of Big Leaguers thing?
On Opening Day this year, the Blue Jays’ super-son combination of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Daulton Varsho and Cavan Biggio went 4 for 14 with four walks, two home runs, five runs and four RBIs.
I was looking for a comprehensive list of Major League Baseball sons… I’m sure it’s out there, but I couldn’t find it. So I tried to put a quick list together myself. I’m sure I’m missing some, maybe even a bunch, probably someone super-obvious—I did this in only a few minutes. But I count 19 big-league sons making Opening Day rosters this season. They include:
