The Next 20 Hall of Fame Classes
Yeah, that’s right, I’m looking at the Hall of Fame through 2044!
Our three-year anniversary here at JoeBlogs is coming up… and I wanted to give you all a couple of presents for supporting me like you have and allowing me to go out on my own and do what I have loved doing for, sheesh, almost 40 years.
Today, I’m giving you my Hall of Fame calendar—predictions for the next, oh, I don’t know, 20 or so Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. Let the arguments rage!
And I will tell you today that I’m working on a special e-book—to be available only here at JoeBlogs—that will count down the Baseball Hall of Famers from 273 all the way to number one. It’s a massive project and will still take some time, but I hope to have it done and in your hands before the next Hall of Fame ceremony in January.
I think you’ll get a huge kick out of it.
Before getting to today’s Hall of Fame predictions… I will put on my business hat for just a second. With the JoeBlogs anniversary coming up, many of you subscribers will be getting renewal notices in your email over the next few weeks. I hope you will renew (if your credit card hasn’t changed, you should be able to renew with no action). We have a pretty astonishingly high renewal rate here, and I never take that for granted. There are a million newsletters and streaming services and other entertainment options vying for your precious dollars, and I’m sure that’s at least part of the reason why I try to write more words than just about anybody out there.
And yes, I’ll ask you to keep spreading the word. There are many ways to do that—you can share the word with friends, you can give JoeBlogs as a gift, you can donate subscriptions for those who cannot afford one. If you want the full JoeBlogs experience, you can also sign up as a Season Ticket Holder, which gets you a few added bonuses… still working out some fun, new ideas for the Season Ticket community.
And for those of you readers who have not yet subscribed, let me say again that I deeply appreciate your readership. No hard sell here; I know it’s a commitment to spend money just to read one writer, especially one who doles out plenty of free posts (and that will not change). Of course, I’d love for you to join us—there’s some really fun stuff coming (including today’s post!) and subscribers are the lifeblood of JoeBlogs, as we don’t take any advertising.

OK, enough of that. Let’s predict the next 20 Hall of Fame Baseball Writers Association of America classes, year by year. Now, I fully expect to be much more wrong than right, but what fun would it be otherwise?
